I sent my holiday greetings along with my sincere thanks to my fire department and here is why...
In early October, I fell and fractured my hip. Northshore Fire and CalFire personnel answered my 911 call. Station #75 (Clearlake Oaks Station) took me to the hospital for treatment. When I got out of the hospital and home, the Northshore people called to check on me. They were concerned about the upcoming power outage. I told them we had most everything ready except that each morning our gas generator would run out of gas and stop. We could handle filling the tank, but we could not pull the rope to restart the engine. Station #75 then agreed to have someone stop by each morning when they were road testing their engines and they would restart our generator and check on us. They came by for three days when we needed them. It is so reassuring to know that we have these caring, well-trained and friendly people with the proper equipment. Thank You again, my Fire Department! Sincerely, Larry Ellerhorst Clearlake Oaks https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=S5DJT47E4DX2A&source=url
